20220101 Saturday 0800 HAPPY NEW YEAR
Day 39
Yes! They are growing well without being disturbed.
It is the plant's nature some will stay some will go. The fittest survive. The survival rate highly depends on the type, health, and freshness of the seeds, as well as the environment temperature, nutrients, water, and the enviroment.
Prepare a lot of stocks to standby for weekly replenishment.
Thumbs of roles of 20/80 big nature success rate, I like to prepare FIVE TIMES the number of seedlings ready for replenishment weekly until all cells are filled with healthy plants.
Each week, replace the new life's, top-up nutrients, add water 💧 .
Harvest whenever needed.

Day 32
Yes! They still work.
Germinating and sprouting directly inside these cells.
80 cells Cylindrical Tower / Circular Tower
20211123 Thursday 1600 warm afternoon.
I try to germinate the seeds directly inside these sponges in the cells.
Let's see how later will update soon.
20211108 Monday 1600 cooling afternoon.
Preparing for their geminated seedlings 🌱
SEEDLINGS (1st month):
GERMINATING SEEDS
you can
either (A) geminate every seed in each damp/wet sponge patiently and wait until all their roots come out healthily.
It takes about one month time.
This method is good when the whole packet of seeds are fresh and healthy;
or ( B) pour and scatter all the seeds on the surface of a plate/tray of damp/wet soil
(laziest, easiest, and fastest method),
remember to make holes at the base of these recycled trays, sprinkle and scatter plenty of veggie seeds onto the wet soil trays.
Just pour and scatter all of them in the wet soils no need to count.
Leave the trays at a cooling location. The morning sun is good to help to sprout.
Spray/Sprinkle water daily to keep the sponges/soils damp/moist throughout the sprouting.
Wait for three to four weeks. All seedlings shall be ready.
If the seeds are fresh and healthy, they should start sprouting within 2 to 3 days. Sometimes, the seeds that we bought could be expired, too old, bad, or dead.
Hence if they do not sprout at all within 14 days most likely they won't.
Transplant the germinated seedlings to the wet sponges at least three to four weeks later after their sprouting.

TRANSPLANTING 🌱
FROM SOILS TO SPONGES
20211203 Friday cool morning
It is good to do the transplant in the evening when the weather is not too hot.
wash away the mud gently in a bowl of clean water,
place each sponge into a net.
pull out the roots carefully.
can wash away the mud gently in a bowl of clean water.
Do the same 64 times for 64 cells twin towers hydroponic system.
washing away the mud in a bowl of clean water.
I made the same for 64 cells within 30 minutes.
put each net into each hydroponic system cell respectively.
These 64 cells and 80 cells aeroponic/ hydroponic systems are good for growing and supply unlimited leafy veggies 24/7 at the balcony for city life.
Growing lettuces and Spinaches are almost pest-free and with little care using these hydroponic systems.
what is needed is to spend some time learning about the seeds germination and plants' nutrients.
Ready-mixed nutrient solutions and testers are available easily in an online search.

20211122 Monday 0700 after rain morning.
Transplanting these seedlings from the soils.
Put one to three seedlings 🌱 in one sponge per cell.
Make sure all their roots come out.
This is another type of sponge.
(A) use tool to open up the gap from the bottom and put in one seedling 🌱 from the other end.
OR (B) tear open one side.
This way too you can put one to 3 seedlings 🌱 in one sponge.
Drop the sponge into the net cup and place it in the cell.
20211115 Monday 0800 good morning
All done!
